Juniper is seeking to appoint a forward thinking aged care industry professional with exceptional leadership and development skills to drive growth and care standards in the Kimberley region. Your objective will be to lead and manage the residential and community operations across four sites (Derby, Fitzroy Crossing, Kununurra and Wyndham) as well as develop and grow culturally appropriate and sustainable services.

As a professional you will have experience operating at a senior management level in the aged care industry and be able to demonstrate significant achievements in business operations and stakeholder engagement. Your excellent business and financial acumen will enable you to advance the profile of Juniper in the Kimberley region through building of key business relationships and also ensure that mutually beneficial outcomes are achieved. Key Result Areas:

  • Advance Juniper’s profile and build key relationships within the Kimberley.
  • Lead areas of responsibility in the delivery of high quality care services. 
  • Meet annual Financial Management objectives. 
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure an effective transition.
  • Effectively manage Portfolios and Projects.

 You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications relating to the delivery of human services or management.
  • Senior management experience in aged care, health or community services.
  • Experience in working effectively with regional or remote communities and a sound knowledge of Aboriginal culture and customs.
  • Proven skills in managing professional care staff in a complex clinical environment.
  • Solid financial management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to convey ideas and influence people.  
  • Experience in building effective relationships with a range of key stakeholders and working successfully with diverse groups.
  • Achievement of results by successfully leading and coaching people through organisational change and supporting and fostering the development of individuals.
  • Candidates must also be willing to undergo a National Police Check and a Key Personnel Bankruptcy / Insolvency check.
