Juniper is currently seeking an experienced Quality & Risk Officer to join the team at Juniper Central, located in Balcatta. Reporting to the Quality & Risk Manager, this role is responsible for assisting to implement and maintain an effective quality and risk management framework.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working with quality and risk management systems, preferably in a healthcare setting. This role will liaise with management at all levels, so your ability to build positive professional relationships will be critical to your success in this role.

Key responsibilities include (not limited to):

  • Assist with the design, documentation, communication and implementation of an extensive risk management framework.
  • Proactively maintain, contribute to and communicate risk management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct effective, accurate internal Quality and Risk Audits.
  • Prepare training materials and assist with the delivery of training.
  • Monitor and review the organisation’s compliance with the Aged Care Single Quality Framework, legislation, ISO and other standards.

Qualifications, Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent.
  • Understanding of risks related to the provision of aged/healthcare.
  • Previous experience in a quality/risk management health based role.  
  • Experience in maintaining quality/risk management documentation and processes.
  • Experience in using electronic quality/risk management systems (Riskman experience highly regarded)
  • Ability to collate and analyse risk management data.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills. 
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Experience in delivering effective training.
  • Preparation of presentations and training materials.
