Juniper is now looking for a highly competent and organised person to join the Procurement and Contracts Team in the role of Procurement & Maintenance Coordinator, this is a full-time role based at Juniper Central in Balcatta.

The purpose of this role is to support the Procurement and Contracts Manager to maintain Juniper buildings and grounds compliant with Accreditation and statutory requirements.  In this position you will be the main point of contact for Residential managers, assisting them in the management of facility maintenance.

 Key Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Responding and allocating maintenance request.
  • Contractor and service provider communications.
  • Job reporting and invoice approval.
  • Review and update scheduled maintenance program for each facility, ensuring scheduled maintenance is undertaken.
  • Act as Juniper building representative during accreditation visits.
  • First line of management support to resolve issues regarding building services contractors.
  • Undertake inductions of new contractors and manage their presence on sites.
  • Assist in the establishment of new contracts and the renewal of existing contracts.
  • Help deliver efficiencies across the department – thinking outside the box.

 Skills and Experience:

  • Able to manage and prioritise a heavy workload.
  • A high level of communication skill – verbal and written.
  • Effective people / contractor management.
  • An understanding of working with customer service focus.
  • Uphold the Juniper professional image during interactions with customers and contractors
  • Understanding of quality control and continuous quality improvement
  • Previous experience working with maintenance schedules within complex commercial buildings – work order management systems and applications.
  • Significant experience in activities relating to property management and procurement.

Software and Applications:

  • A highly level of computer literacy, including use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with the myBuildings and or myLocus applications by Core Vision will be highly regarded.
