Juniper now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly customer focused ICT Manager to join our team, based within Juniper Central located in Balcatta. This is a key role within our Business Services Department and is responsible for core systems, platforms and infrastructure that enable Junipers Operations. Critical to this role is the ability to create and foster a culture of ‘customer-first’ across all those involved, in the delivery of these systems.

Selection Criteria

Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills required to be a success in this role:


Formal qualifications/certification in the following field are sought;

  1. Public Cloud Certifications (preferred)
  2. Project Management methodology (preferred)
  3. ITIL/Agile methodology (required)
  4. Programming/Coding (preferred)


  1. Broad knowledge of foundational technology and computing principles
  2. ICT commercial models and structures including compute & storage,
  3. Licensing principles for software
  4. Coding principles
  5. Process Automation principles
  6. Knowledge of trends and opportunities emerging in technology usage and adoption (including mobility, IoT)


  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading and managing technical team’s delivery ICT services to an organisation
  2. Experience in the role of Service Delivery Manager or equivalent
  3. Proven experience with managing ICT operations in a high availability/critical environment
  4. Proven experience in managing a multi-supplier/partner environment for the delivery of ICT
  5. Proven experience in leading high performing, engaged and motivated teams
  6. Proven IT Project management experience relating to adoption of public cloud technology


  1. Strong communication, negotiation and cooperation skills
  2. Unwavering focus on customer outcomes and culture of ‘customer first’
  3. Engaging presentation skills that act to de-mystify technology and associated concepts
  4. Strong leadership skills
  5. Strong problem-solving skills that extend beyond technical ‘fixes’ and fixate on an outcome
  6. Strong organisational and planning skills
