We are currently seeking to recruit a Residential Manager to work at one of our key sites in the Kimberley region of WA. Juniper currently operates 4 Residential Aged care sites in both the East and West Kimberley region, all focussed on providing a full continuum of care to older Western Australians. We are proud to deliver care in a culturally appropriate manner, utilising local knowledge and the experience Juniper has acquired as a leading aged care provider for more than sixty years. 

As the Residential Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the care provided is responsive to recipients’ needs and performed with empathy and respect for the individual. In addition, you will be accountable for the leadership and management of staff, financial planning within budget and maintaining compliance of the site and services.

On offer for the successful person is a full time position working 75 hours per fortnight, salary packaging, ongoing professional development and housing.

Key Responsibilities of this role: 

  • Ensuring high quality care and services are delivered and client satisfaction is achieved within an enabling environment
  • Leading, managing and developing motivated and productive employees
  • Planning, monitoring and controlling financial resources, ensuring that the care and services are carried out within annual budgets
  • Managing physical assets on site, as well as information and communication 

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Aged and Community services (Highly desirable)
  • Experience within a complex health care environment (Highly desirable)
  • A good understanding of budget development and financial planning and monitoring
  • Excellent written, verbal and conceptual and analytical skills
  • Significant leadership and people management experience with the ability to develop and influence others and effect change within an aged care organisation or a health care environment

Selection Criteria Essential: A requirement of being Key Personnel of an Aged Care organisation is that you are not a 'disqualified individual'. Are you insolvent under administration (bankrupt)?
Essential: How many weeks notice do you require to commence this new position with Juniper (including any time for relocation / self isolation)?
