We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Administration Assistant to join the team at our Juniper Guwardi Ngadu site located in the Kimberley town of Fitzroy Crossing. Juniper Guwardi Ngadu provides essential ATSI flexible services and care for up to 24 older Aboriginal people in a culturally appropriate manner.
The purpose of this role is to provide an efficient administration service relating to the services we deliver to our residents; to act as first point of contact for incoming calls and visitors and ensure Juniper is represented professionally at all times.
This is a permanent full time position working a total of 75 hours per fortnight.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- First point of contact for incoming calls and all visitors to Guwardi
- Processing of accounts receivable and payable, placement of ereq purchase orders
- Acting as a point of contact for resident enquiries and referring these to the Manager/Supervisor as appropriate
- General administration, such as preparation of resident agreements, filing, data entry, word processing, minute taking and photocopying
- Input and maintenance of records in order to ensure that they meet both internal and external reporting requirements
The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- Aged care sector experience will be highly regarded
- Be highly organised and possess the ability to multi-task
- Effective time management skills and an understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines
- Excellent presentation
- Work well in a team environment
- Professional and confident communication skills
- Reliable and Punctual
