Juniper is currently looking for a Development Projects Coordinator to join our team at Juniper Central, located in Balcatta.  

Reporting to the Property Development Manager, this autonomous role is responsible for contributing to the planning and implementation of Juniper’s Asset Plan. This position will apply project management skills to support the tracking of a wide range of tasks relating to overall site master planning, liaison for local government approvals, development of working drawings, calling for construction tenders through to completion of construction and commissioning. Another key part of his role is interaction with architects, sub consultants and other professionals in the development of working drawings.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated skills in project management, the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders and knowledge of the development of building projects, including the completion of feasibility analysis.

On offer is a part time role working 3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Viewing, reviewing, measuring architectural drawings
  • Tracking of actions in accordance with project time lines 
  • Monitor project costs against targets
  • Create project schedules
  • Create building approval document packages
  • Creating EOI / FRP / RFQ document packages
  • Liaising with consultants and local councils
  • Processing project change orders
  • Attending on site meetings and taking minutes
  • Tracking of project tasks
  • Creating project specific documents

 Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification (Essential)
  • Knowledge of the development of building projects including the undertaking of feasibility analysis
  • Have an understanding of general principles of tendering, contract formation and contract management
  • Working knowledge of local government approvals system for planning and building
  • Mathematical competence to contribute to financial viability assessment and proposed works
  • Ability to manage the process of the development of site master plans and working drawings
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Competent computer skills
